Hello All! I'm in the process of ordering a 16' Cruiser-- very exciting. I have about 5-years boating experience on my 15' Duroboat and am looking forward to the expanded possibilities a cabin will offer.
I'm wondering how useful a couple of the optional features are:
swim step (I'm used to stepping on the trimfin and climbing over the transom).
bow rail
Thanks for your help... |

I'd definately get the bow rail it's a must when you go forward to deploy the anchor. I'm surprised you can order the boat without it. A lot of 16 owners put the batteries under the passenger seat if thats something you may do I'd get them to put a conduit down the port side under the gunnel it's rough to get the wiring through after it's constructed. It's probably a lot cheaper to get things like the swimstep and electric wipers from the factory than adding them later. _________________ marvin |
