my new EC21,named Mc Alister, started on paper nov.2007,built jan\feb
2008, delivered march 2008,and commissioned april 2008, at
Gratitude Yachting Center in Rock Hall md. A great company to do business with.i have spent much time reading this forum getting
ideas etc. before making my purchase, it was alot of help.i had a
couple of items added which i felt were important,a second bilge
pump mounted a bit higher than the supplied one and a Racor
fuel filter.check out pictures, McAlister is a great little boat and a
big head turner wherever she goes. |

Great looking boat. It should serve you well. I lived in New Castle in 1986 while working on the Nuke in Salem NJ. Lots of nice cruising waters in your area. Enjoy! _________________ marvin |

Oh Man, what a beautiful boat, and the Delaware is the perfect place for it.
I envy you a trip up the river to Phillie and past to the Rancocas and Burlington. Even better the C and D canal to Rock Hall, St. Michaels, Annapolis and beyond. You are a lucky guy. _________________ MartyP

Wonderful. We are happy to be on the water in a Ranger Tug, here in the NW corner, and pleased to know about you and your boat in the NE corner.
Good cruising,

A fine looking vessel indeed!
We hope you enjoy your R21-EC as much as we are. Our boat is just a year old and we just keep falling more and more in love with her. She is quite versatile (as you'll discover) and quite comfortable for two people to spend the night.
One suggestion: Order a spare impeller for the water cooling system. I've been through a couple and they are so easy to replace. If you need a part number, just shout, but I'm sure your dealer can assist you.

Part number for the impeller is
Johnson Pump MC97 and on the box the number is 09-810B and
try Fisheries Supply in Seattle if you cant find it locally.

Thanks for the heads up about checking the impeller. I checked my impeller, and sure enough it was missing one of the paddles. I was able to order one and had it shipped overnight so my weekend boating trip wasn't spoiled. I bought an extra and keep it on the boat. If others haven't had their impeller checked for a while, I'd definitely do so, as my motor had just 52 hours total but the previous owner did not inspect the impeller when he serviced the motor prior to my purchase. I also saw an earlier post from someone who had just completed their 50 hour service and their impeller needed to be changed as well. |

I just checked the Fisheries Supply website you mentioned. The price for the impeller through their site is about half of what I paid through a marine shop although I did get mine overnight with another shipment of supplies that the marine shop dealer had ordered. |
