|

Can anyone tell me if there are any significant differences between the 1984 22' Classic hull and some of the later model hulls. It is difficult to tell from the pictures but the shape of the 84 classic listed for sale on this website seems a bit diferent to me.
Thank You
Josh

The major difference is that the bottom of the Classic is flat and is shaped like a clothes iron _________________ Larry H

I was told 87 was the first yr. of the change. The other big difference, I believe, is that the Classics had the small transom cutouts not conducive to dual mounting.
but I'm a newbie, Chris
Compare the rear of the Classic to mine, the picture with 3 ob's hanging. |

The Transom has room for only one engine. The only balsa core is in the transom. The deck and bottom are plywood. C-Otter |

Josh-
While your question seems limited to the hulls, our discussion of the Classic vs Cruisers usually includes comparing the interiors as well.

A couple of other noticible differences are
the front bow is higher and the brow over the front windows is larger. also ,I believe that the cabin is a might bigger than a angler after 1987. the nice thing about the Classic is that it is totaly flat inside the cockpit so no need for inserts. the bad thing is that when you have any water in the cockpit is is all over, not just in the middle . _________________ Roger on the "SENSEI"
