Tim, Thanks for passing that along here. Quit a few of the CBRATS who have cruised the Broughtons have stopped in at Port Harvey, and (of course I had to..... the name and all), found the service great, the pizza super, and those who were there last season noticed, l'm sure, the missing fish and chips.
And, some of use do not have Facebook so it's nice to see the message (even) second hand.
I'll be sending in an email, and I hope the rest do too.

I received another message today, regarding this. There was a question whether USA residents could respond. George's answer was that we certainly could, and the about 50% of there business came from US, (yes, pun intended), and that they appreciate our south of the border support.
He also asked to send a copy to them as well.
Thanks for the support to those who have. For the rest, if you are northbound by boat into the Broughtons from anywhere south of Campbell River, Port Harvey is one of the first places to stop at a dock, be greated by the nicest folks, and get good food. They are working on rebuilding after a huge setback a year ago when their store and restaurant barge sank.

I encourage anyone who cruises the Broughtons to consider supporting Port Harvey Marina in this. We need all the facilities in that area.

I agree, and even if you are considering going north. It's not a requirement to have been there, to send an email. Even if you are just thinking about it, they are worth the stop, and it might even become a habit.
