Top slide for ac power panel cover. Made from a 3' piece of 3/4" oak finish stock from Home Depot. Datto is with a Dremel tool router bit set 3/16".

Pre-assembled AC power panel cover layout. Plexiglass is 0.093" standard stock cut to 8 1/2" x 4". Mounting hardware will be #10x2" brass wood screws chosen for initial setting, #10x3" bolts can replace them later if the screws don't hold up. Initial installation with screws is OK.

Plexiglass height was chosen for: [a] lower slide to be as high as possible to allow door under carpet to open as far as possible, [b] not to have slide cover any part of the power panel and [c] keeping the bottom circuit breaker blank space clear for a future addition.
