the boat came with ZERO electrical 110V AC (no coffee or cooking)
I was able to avoid drilling any new holes in the Transom... yes!

I wanted to add the 200ah house battery salvaged from the 25.
The 2nd switch allows the new battery to be used as a second house battery for instruments and lighting when switched to “2” or independently connected to inverter when switched to “1” the regular house battery does instruments and lights while the big battery only does inverter 110 AC.
The main switch only sees a house battery when not off.

the most simple treatment was to have one input that supplied the AC outlets and could be fed either from shore power or from the inverter

wanted the large battery close to the inverter to reduce resistance and power loss

the large group D battery fit perfectly between the two storage areas. The angle aluminum at the top edge holds it down firmly and the movable angle brackets allow the lateral movement

the battery weighs 135 lbs and can be shifted 10\" towards midship to help trim when single handing... then moved starboard with passngers. Eventually, if needed I can add a second there in parallel for mucho amp hours

the aluminum angle brackets slide on and off bolts had nylock nuts and washers on the inside of the drawer sliders

House Battery 2 connects directly to inverter via buss so short run reduces resistance as the big battery’s main job is 110v AC and backup for House Battery 1 if needed.

can now make coffee, run the dehumidifier and charge usb items in cabin

used the marine grade cable as it was very flexible for the long run from the port transom to the starboard cabin location

the dehumidifier can now be left on while boat is in the shed with the drain tube running through a thru hull into a bucket

without a self draining cockpit, one pump was not OK...one is none and two is one... BACKUP please
