Ready to lift, Marie will come aboard into the cockpit and then go forward to help guide the dinghy onto the top. The dinghy is hoisted bow aft, so the tubes will go under the radar arch, as it is rotated over the top of the boat with the davit.

Aluminum square tubing with 5/8" dowel epoxied into middle. This has two sets of Carabiners. The outer for lifting the dinghy with the Davit, and the inner for hoisting the window air conditioner inside of the cabin into its position.

View of full davit and shows the alternate way to run the hoist line, thru the outer top of the davit and to a jam cleat on the base. For the 22, we used the standard size davit, for the 25, we added a foot to the base tube. If doing again, I would probably add 18" for the 25 an 12" to the lower tube for the 22.
