The fridge is 32 quart, 12v/AC LG compressor unit from Costco. I've been running it full of beer in one of the spare bedrooms for the past month and it seems to work really well. Supposedly 2.4 amp draw when running. Runs for about 5 minutes on a 25 minute cycle. I found out about them from the guys on the Expedition Portal forum. They seem to like them pretty well so we'll see how it goes.

For $250 I figure it's definitely worth a shot compared to the price of some of the "name" brand units out there. If it sucks, back to Costco it goes.

I'll be adding a 150 watt solar panel to the roof rack to keep it chugging along.
