Getting a Friday night start to the Labor Day weekend. Departed Twin Bridges at 6:20 PM, heading across Rosario strait as the sun was setting.

With a stiff breeze from the South West, had to slow to about 9 knots from East Sound most of the way to Friday Harbor. Finally pulled in at 8:30 in darkness.

After spending Friday night on the breakwater, a slip opened up Saturday morning, just before the 9:30 slip assignment roll call madness on 66A.

I cannot resist the temptation when this place is open. Fortunately it is closed during the off season, when I'm mostly in FH.

A Saturday afternoon paddle around Brown Island. The hardest part is navigating across the harbor dodging the boats, seaplanes and ferries.

Saw this 22 Cruiser heading towards fuel dock as I was heading in from kayaking. It has the rare sliding rear window.

And this 22 Cruiser on the breakwater dock must have arrived while I was out.

And the Cruiser Blue Raven also arrived.

Lots of C-Brat friends also happened to be here for the weekend. Including Susan and Tom in their classic 27.

Martin and Andrea (formerly of Nomad the 22 Cruiser) were here again from Comox BC, this time in their 31 Camano Troll Gypsy Rose!

Even Brock and buddy Mark were there, on their annual trip north to destinations unknown. It was like a mini FH CBGT.
