Like most radios, mine just has twist knobs to hold it to the bracket.  I used the right length screw to drill a hole through the knob and into the bracket (and not into the radio).  The bracket can't be removed with the radio in place.  A thief would need to figure out the problem and have a short-shaft #2 square drive screwdriver.

Great idea, except in Canada. The square headed screw is called a Robertson and was a Canadian invention and thus the most common type of screw used in Canada.
