Hinge wood supports made from an old teak deck chair.

Hinges are good quality stainless steel.

Used Starboard as seat base, rubber patch prevents rubbing against fiberglass hull.

The steps are removable and can be mounted either to port or starboard.

The seats are actually the old hatch cover from inside on the port side.

3 bolts with large washers hold the seats on.

Fitting the hinges for the table. The wires that run athawartships between house and engine batteries fit nicely on top of the hinge supports.

Since the hinge supports hold the wires up, no need for the screws for the old wire holders so I gel coated the screw holes.

Table is made from starboard.

Hinges with 3 coats of spar varnish on the supports. Ready to be mounted.

Since I have trouble getting marks/stains off of starboard, I laminated the table with the same white laminate I used in the cabin around the sink/stove.

With a heat gun, I bent a piece of flexible molding around the table for the rocking lip. Used a nail gun to hold it in place. Then putty for the nail holes.
