Departing the inner Maple Bay marina after a fuel stop. Seemed like a nice marina, perhaps a future destination!

That's where I was on 7/20/1969.


 

It is nice to cruise with a buddy who knows how to sweet talk a marina operator into letting us sneak into the locals dock for a couple nights!

Tucked into Genoa, away from the yacht-clubbers. Then we hiked up the 1,600 foot hill not far from the marina. The view was worth the climb.

I believe we're looking northwest, toward Duncan.


 

What a change Friday morning. Departed early for a nice slow, meandering cruise back to US waters.
