Waiting out the winds, again. This time from peaceful Schooner Cove Monday morning.

Doesn't look like much from here, but those waves were big. Even the big boats were coming back in.

Beautiful boat, I think it's aluminum but is shiny as gelcoat. And huge 5-blade surface drive prop. They launched, went outside the breakwater, turned around and came in.

Amelia Island

Cruised this speed, about 8.5 to 10 knots all the way to Denman Island. *

All tied up at visitor dock in Comox. 190 NM on this trip so far.

I like the Kaboat, and everyone asks about it. But having it up there on the roof sure changed the low speed maneuverability even in the slightest breeze. Big C already has a few more scratches in the gelcoat and I'm only 3 days in!

Blackfin Pub Restaurant. Apparently the only place in Comox open after 5. It was packed!

Cute little town...everything closes at 4 or 5, so will revisit in the morning if winds keep me in port again tomorrow.
