Friday afternoon departure for Memorial Day Weekend

Departing Twin Bridges Friday afternoon for Memorial Day Weekend - No particular destination in mind, will play it by ear!

After passing up vacant buoys at Cypress, and then Clark islands, I continued North

Minus 3 tides Saturday afternoon

Listening to 16, I heard someone hailing the USCG to report a sunken vessel adrift..the location was nearby, I looked up and realized they were just a few hundred yards away!

Low tide at under 7' at my buoy Saturday afternoon. I wasn't concerned about hitting bottom, but I WAS slightly concerned about tangling in the buoy's ground tackle, so the outboard was tilted up for the weekend.

Another C-dory in Shallow Bay...the owners were not around but they stopped by my boat later to introduce themselves - I think names were Dave and Kathy, but I'm probably wrong - they were at Friday Harbor too.
