New VHF is a commercial grade Standard Horizon GX 5500s. No frills, oversized knobs and buttons, much better sound quality than the GX2200 on right.

The GX2200 is now dedicated for Ch 16 and AIS duty. AIS not yet connected permanently to the Garmin, but did a test patch to try it out and works great, easy peesy connection.
