My windows didn't open enough to comfortably hang my elbow out while at the helm.

I pulled out the rubber "stopper" material and shortened it a couple of inches top and bottom using tin snips.

They now open a bit more.

Widow "gutter" made from press-on gasket material used for sealing hatches. It is available in 180 and 90 degree (this is 90 degree used to form a gutter to keep rain from dripping in the captain's window. I used the 180 degree for "head protection" above the cabin entrance.
