We put an Engel MD14F freezer under the helm seat in the storage compartment. So far, we are storing rain gear and some larger kitchen goods behind it and access is good enough for those items.

The height inside the storage area is tall enough to allow easy access to cooler ice packs each day. We are planning to swap out packs each day.

I am using these to start with. We can fit 15 of the pint bottles or 2 pints plus 4 of the liter bottles with some room left over.
