This was the pace boat for the A group entered by Power Boat Canada(event organizer). Yellow flag indicates a speed restricted zone, Green flag - cruising speed. The A group left first and travelled 30 miles down the St. Lawrence from Gananoque to Mallorytown. It was reserved for boats able to cruise at 60+ mph. The B group which I was in left after the big boys and travelled 20 miles from Gananoque to Rockport. It was for any size/speed family boat. We picked up 5 poker cards from stops along the way and at the dinner after the best hand won the $5,000. top prize. Prizes for 2nd and 3rd hand as well as best dressed crew. A ton of fun as well as a great guided tour of the 1000 islands. Any Brats doing the Trent or Rideau should check this out for a change of pace. They are called Poker Run Rendezvous.
