New ceiling shelf, port side. Holes drilled for viewing of what's on shelf. The holes added an unexpected nautical look!

Holes drilled in such a manner can also have the added benefit of reducing warpage on a long board.


 

Bottom of shelf viewed from dinette. Oil based primer/oil based paint to match interior. Blends well with existing roof.
