The first thing I did was epoxy some
The first thing I did was epoxy some "feet" on the bottom of the AC. There are "hooks" cut into the feet to sit on the window frame. These are glued down with 5200.

The backs of the
The backs of the "feet" are cut so that they sit on the hinges of the hatch. They are cut down so that they cause the AC to angle back for good water drainage. They are just high enough, though, to keep the AC off of the lexan.

I used thin aluminum strips and VERY short sheet metal screws to fasten the "sock" to the AC unit. The outer edge has 1/4" bungee cord in a hem and one of those squeeze cinch thingies.

There is two fabric layers with some insulating foam in between them to help (marginally) prevent air-to-air exchange.

.....and cut the cord off to be just the right length - had to open up the unit and cut off about 2ft of the pigtail, putting on new crimp ends.

Lisa also made a great stow bag with a semi-rigid rubberized bottom for schlepping the thing around the boat.
