Wallas Fuel Tank underneath sink. 9/26/12 update -- we use diesel. It is such a miser on fuel, that the level has not dropped much this. Good thing we did not use kerosene, or else it would have to be discarded at the end of the season. Diesel lasts two years.

The Marinaut 215 cockpit has plenty of space for entertaining guests. We had 4 people in the cockpit enjoying Mimosa's and cheese while anchored (with anchor dragging) on the Niantic River in Niantic, CT. To give one an example of scale, I'm 6 feet 250 lbs.

To cool the berth down on excessively hot nights, we installed a 2 speed, Caframo 747, 12 volt, .59 amp fan with finger safe blades

Caframo heater keeps cockpit and cabin warm on it lowest setting of 600 watts when the outside temperature is in the 50s.

The Wallas gets hot fast! Late in 2011, we let milk boiler over on our Wallas. What we did not know, was that the caramelized milk ran down the hose and onto the top cabinet shelf. What a mess to clean up! So when placing liquids on a Wallas, don't take your eyes off of the pot, even for a minute.

Double duty: the life preserver hook on the bulkhead also serves as a nifty holder for a waste basket. We cut a slot in the lip of the basket, and use recycled plastic grocery bags as a liner for the trash.

We found this product at West Marine that works great on Sunbrella to remove stains. We have light-colored fabric, so this was an important find.
