Sorry, the main is a Suzi but they hit logs too! And maybe even quit!! Or have contaminated fuel. The kicker, with it's own tank is a reliable backup.

You got that right. We had 5 on the waster water failures on our Suzuki, which compelled us to install the kicker. It brought us back to port 4 times. Ultimately, we discovered the cause of the failures to a faulty wiring harness -- something that can happen to any engine.
