Next 600, then 800...then buffing.  The gelcoat is a little bit rough in texture so I can see where the sanding is needed.  Big thanks to Scott @ Triton for the gelcoat, catalyst and instructions.

The next morning.  The patches are now more visible and in some spots, wet still.  The upper patch in the pic is NOT wet however, and is more opaque.  It actually looks good, even up close.

After the cutting & buffing.  Shine seems pretty uniform.  Although if you look carefully, you'll see the new gelcoat is not 100% perfect in color, probably due to age, sunlight etc.  I'm happy w/ it though.
