Unbelivable good weather up the inside passage. It was like this all the way to Juneau. Not a drop of rain for 3 weeks.

Fell into gap between two marina floats in Hartley Bay, BC. The bottom leg of the Y was where I just scraped the skin. It "caught" in the center of the scar, and the two arms of the Y are where the skin tore, lifting a full thickness flap down to the bone. The wound was gaping open about an inch, and blood was pouring out. My brother, standing beside me, asked, "do you need a Band-Aid?" This is a month and 1/2 post injury, and it's healing up nice. *

I always knew I'd have to repower some day, but I naively hoped it would be at a time and place of my own choosing. Given the luxury of a choice, I probably would have repowered with twin outboards on a bracket. Maybe I will someday, but hopefully not for another 20 years.
