 Espar D-2 Heater Install
Basic mounting under the helm seat where refridgerator was removed. Fresh air intake under right side of seat box just beyond the heater on the left from this view. Heat exhaust under foot box in the helm seat area. Mount made out of 1/4 inch aluminum and 3x4 aluminum angle bolted to front of helm seat box. The four bolts up top are the existing four bolts for the helm seat. I used them for securing the extra long wires from my outboard motor controls and on off switch, bolted fuse holders etc, the heater sits right under the helm seat. What's different also is the hot air exhaust has been changed to 3

What's different also is the hot air exhaust has been changed to 3" instead of the normal two inch, as I will add a Y pipe for a second duct if need be. From what I noticed so far a second duct won't be needed. This heater puts out better than an ugly girl on prom night.

mounted fuel pump on bottom of angle bracket. The fuel pump on an Espar heater is incased in a rubber mount and is pretty quiet unlike some of the other heaters on the market that have noisy fuel pumps. Hole for heat outlet going into box under where my feet reside when I am at the helm. Swivel outlet lets heat be directed any desired angle as it spins 360 degrees. Note plate heater is bolted to,see the pipe below that plate which is the combustion exhaust with a drain that will go to the newly installed thru hull
