 Wallas stove leaky exhaust repairs on "Pacific Wanderer" a 2009 23 Venture.

6. The original exhaust connection leaked an intolerable amount of water into the bildge and kept getting everything stored under the sink wet all the time.

7. You can see the sooty water stains from water flowing down the side of the hull and into the bildge. In heavy weather, I was also concerned about salt water penetrating the wallas stove.

10. Exhaust over flow collection bottle. I still get a little water getting past the heat resistant silicone used in the flex pipe to solid pipe connections, and possibly the flex pipe itself. I keep a synthetic towel folded under the cabinet drawer box, shown in this picture. The amount of water that collects in the towel and the bottle are minimal and now acceptable to me. It now takes pretty rough weather conditions to have salt water collect in these areas.

11. In cold or wet weather conditions we can run the stove for 7 - 24 hour days without concern to refill. With the 5 gallon fuel container.
