Sea view radar mount's coating flaking off in just a little over three years. It does not look to be any primer. The coating is just flaking the aluminum off in big pieces. Looks shabby no other issues with product's quality except the durability of the coating

We use the boat in salt water and rinse and wash it off after every trip. The boat stays on a trailer in the driveway two hours away from saltwater. It looks like the problem started where the light bar exists the rear of the mount The part where there name was is already gone

The corrosion is already creeping up the light bar. Neither item is cheap to purchase.

This the only mark left that identify this piece as being a Seaview part is stamped on the bottom of mount.

Replaced powder coated radar pedestal and light bar with stainless steel units

Seaview gave us a 100.00 dollar credit towards the stainless upgrade as the powder coating seriously flaking off

We reused the LED all around light from the old powder coated light bar

Smart Plug update added socket to boat which has a thermal breaker which cuts power if excessive heat is detected 20% more contact area on the plug and socket. Better water proof sealing in the socket also.

Plug cover is designed to snap in place on the back of the shore power cord's plug.

Fished Barnegat Inlet about a mile off the beach. Three of us caught twenty stripers tossed ten back. One nice sized bluefish in the mix. All the fish around thirty inches. most of mine jigged with a 5 oz. Krocodile chrome spoon in thirty to fifty feet of water. Water temps in the low fifties.

My son Robert with one of ten stripers we kept. Rainy drizzly morning back to the dock by noon. These fish will be around till Christmas or until the water temps hit the low forties or the bait leaves. Mostly sand eels some herring and bunker mixed in. Look for birds diving run and gun type fishing.

Winter hits December 7th. Down in the lower twenties this week.

First snow just put the cover on Saturday Sunday the white stuff showed up. Feb in Florida is looking like a mighty good decision

A Marine Beam LED light that we up graded a previous led light this plugs in a dual contact socket base in a C-Dory? factory light fixture. The LEDs face down. By switching switch from off to on you can switch the light from white to red. $22 works well
