Hatch plumbed to the bilge. It will become an insulated cooler as soon as I figure out how to properly insulate it.

Did you ever figure out a way to insulate this. I was figuring on doing the same thing.

drill 3/8" holes in the upper corners, make sure the bottom is sealed off with cardboard or something similar, and pour in 2-part foam. Works great. Just be careful how much. That stuff has incredible power when it expands during the pour.
