So beautiful and soooo cold! SE Alaska is a different place in the Spring than Summer for sure!

Dang Jay....I'm scared just looking at the picture.

Wow Jay...that is a fabulous photo! They were sure interested in you.

Five? I count Six!

Ok....and the reason to do this in bear country is what again?
From: Hunkydory (Hunkydory) Tue Jun 12 23:30:32 2012
This may sound strange to some, but really wasn't concerned about the bears. Many people live or stay in cabins in bear areas & the C-Dory is as strong as many of them. Having aboard bear spray & shot gun makes sleeping easier too.

Yep - that sailboat looks less nice when docked by a beautiful C-Dory! ;-)

What an idyllic looking place to hang out and see perhaps a first sighting of humans...

What a grand shot!

This looks like an ideal place for such a glorious and healthy creature!

Mama seems kind of thin, doesn't she?

Gut Bay is a tough place for any bear to do well let alone one raising cubs

I am wondering what might keep a curious bear from exploring Hunky Dory?

Did you ever come into Port Alexander?
From: Hunkydory (Hunkydory) Thu Nov 12 13:23:42 2015
Yes, we were there in 2010 & 2012 & plan on going back there in 2016. In 2010 we left Sitka headed north & returned from the south after stopping several days in Port Alexander. We hope to see your new boat & meet you there this spring

As of December 2018, "Osprey" is still with us! Saw it in Petersburg Harbor blue-tarped and preparing for its 100th winter. Posted a couple more pictures in my "Petersburg" album.

I loved its lines & good to know it’s still going & being cared for

I was wondering what kind of wax do they use on this craft to keep it looking so pristine?

Where is the generator?
From: Hunkydory (Hunkydory) Fri Jan 25 19:33:11 2019
It’s under the camo cover & runs in that position & exhaust out the back. This show it without cover. http://www.c-brats.com/albums/2016-SE-Alaska-Jay-Jo-Lee/image_044.jpeg

OK, I’m slow, but finally get the hidden camouflaged generator comment
