Whats that behind you with the twin stackes? Is it a party boat or a giant c-dory? papy_291

Actually it was a charter boat. The party was on my boat about 45 minutes after this was taken as we high fives each other and headed back in with our limits of Halibut!

What is in the box under the wheel? What is the black rod sticking out? How does this look when fishing poles are stored there? Do they hender the stearing?
From: Mr. Fisherman (Mr. Fisherman) Sun Oct 23 01:48:03 2005
The box covers the factory installed bilge pump. The black thing is the discharge hose.
I have to be careful with large reels but the steering is hydrolic and the wheel dosen't turn when the boat is beeing steered from the other station. I love my 2nd helm but your crew has to be aware as it has caused problems with the throttle and shifter arms.
From: Tug (Tug) Tue Feb 7 09:56:07 2012
Do the shifter arms need to be that long, just cut them down 3/4 of their lenght.
From: Mr. Fisherman (Mr. Fisherman) Tue Jul 27 09:26:04 2004
This tail is wider than my boat is long. That's over 22 feet. What a humbleing experience!

It was spooled by a very large fish in a very short time. 480 yards of tuff line gone in just a few minutes!
