Looks like a spare hub to me. Something I wish I had with me a time or two before I put the new axle and oil bath hubs on.

Do you have any concern about the proximity of the grill and the fuel tank fill and vent? I would. I do like that the mount gets the grill over the water out to the side.

At Lake Powell loaded with a month of provisions,
