You can see the steering rod attachment in the upper left quadrant of the photo.This would have prevented the raising of the kicker when fully tilted.I'll beef up the transom here.

Difficult to see, but the drain splits the pin striping. You can also just make out the transducer, inboard of the trim tab. I can still move the trim tab if this becomes a problem.
