LCD Backup Camera above cabin door. The small 'black dot' to the left of the lense is the mic pickup. I use the mic to monitor the cockpit crew for docking or other feedback.

View at dock after landing. This first landing was very smooth, all helped with improved line of sight. Yes, that is my hand reflection on the monitor as I took the pix. The curve at the top of the pix is the underside of the camper back top.

Rear view cockpit camera LCD monitor positioned to the left of the GARMIN 2006C display. Though the location was best for viewing, it proved not so because of water spray when the center window is open.

CCD camera [with IR] above the cabin door. Horizontal field of view = 90 deg.[more than enough], vert. field of view = 20 deg.. It has a built in mic within the camera head body. Volume can be muted or controlled at the monitor under the 'MODE' function - very handy when running with the door closed. The wedge is a cedar shingle [sealed with 4 coats of poly']cut to provide the necessary vert. angular range for the bracket supplied. A single multiconductor small cable [abt the size of RG-8X] is fed straight into the cabin and routed along the port side wiring harness directly to the monitor, where the camera also gets its power.

AFTER getting the original monitor wet from spray thru the center windshield,(I left the protective plactic cover off)it was time to move it to a drier location to the right of the C80's Alphanumeric Keypad -above the windshield.
The replacement came from 'RVCams.com'. [Very fast service.]

This relocation will save me from another $184.00 plus S/H bill. This location makes it much easier to scan my situation and to juggle the twin throttles while backing into the slips. The camera has all but eliminated the blind spot behind helm caused by the head's particians. This also has improved my scanning efficiency.
