BEFOFE: Original port bench seat with copilot chair for CD 22 Commuter version. Starboard side was identical. This side now has been modified to form a bed and houses a 20 gallon water tank.

Added overhead console with AM/FM/CD/Aux,speakers' VHF, rode counter and storage door. Upper shelf provides needed storage with quick access behind teak panel. Swivel table can be moved in 3 axes to form dining table, chart/laptop surface, galley table or it can be placed in vertical position to stow

Copilot seat now swivels and slides. Shown facing table for dining. A drop-down stainless steel footrest will soon be added to both sides *

Looking forward

Galley was added to starboard by building cabinets from seat box. Added a sink, whale pump and single burner Wallas. Retained handy hinged storage box. Elastic straps used to constrain items from shifting around while underway.

Galley sink and wallas with covers for commuter traveling with grandkids. Wallas heater can be run with covers down. A sunbrella boat pocket will be added under the drop down shelf to hold cups and utensils

Galley covers down. Boat pocket snaps to back of helm seat or to cabin door to hold cooking utensils.

Galley side seating. Added a removable bed support to convert to a sofa with helm seat back removed. The cutout in the right hand galley cover allows the Wallas heater to operate with the covers down in commuter passenger mode.

Cockpit with camperback starboard panel removed. Transom bars are most useful mod yet; holds cooler, net boxes for propane / water jugs, fenders, rod holders, etc. Chair just fits over potti to optimize space. Shower enclosure and sunshower makes a handy addition to cockpit.

Added washdown pump under starboard lazerette and waterproof 12 V outlet. Bracket to hold magma cooking surface mounted with starboard spacer. The washdown is configured to take water from either the fresh water tank or externally. This can be easily switched with a simple valve.

C-Eagle with new Furuno

Furuno 1715 and Navman F210 Flowmeter added. Flip Light mounted at bottom right just above switch panel is a great help to me at dusk when I just need a little light to see the panel. The Lid shines light only on the panel and not in my eyes.

Moving from the Tennessee River to the adjoining Flint River dead ahead. The GPS route to the FLINT RIVER waypoint is shown on the GPS by a red trace. The Furuno 1715 Radar is interfaced to the Garmin GPS via communication ports. The radar displays a lollipop with the circle showing the entrance corresponding to the GPS waypoint.
