Time for a quick swim in Mountain Sheep Canyon.

These guys were around on both sides of the canyon.

The chart plotter was quite accurate (until losing GPS in the slot canyons) and the sonar showed usually flat canyon bottoms.

We were the only ones at Rainbow Bridge.

That is the Limpet right at the bottom of the spring under the arch.

Our typical anchorage was someplace nobody else could get in to.

We stopped at the head of most canyons for a walk or to eat lunch.

If the canyon had water, you would find these little guys.

Other canyons had these. A little herd came right down to our anchorage and spent the night.

Probably every canyon has these. You just have to lift up some rocks.

Lots of interesting canyons.

Cha canyon has some petroglyphs, but many have been vandalized like this. Maybe they couldn't see that they were defacing older petroglyphs?

Where we found yellow flowers we were most likely to see sheep.

Many of the creek bottoms were fascinating.

Sometimes water, sometimes not, sometimes there was and wasn't at different points in the same drainage.

Nice bathtubs, but the spring water was much colder than the lake water.

More cottonwoods the higher you went in the canyons.

Waiting for dinner. Tonight's special is poached fish (chef's choice) with cornbread.
