Pulled into Stehekin under gale force winds. The cloud is dust and sand blown off of the spit at the mouth of the Stehekin River. Restaurant closed, lodge closed, store closed. Too early in the season.

Put together my bike and toured Stehekin. This is Rainbow Falls going full blast. The spray could be felt 1/8th mile away.

The next day was cloudy, but the wind had died down and the scenery was still great. That "twig" stuck upright in the falls is actually a large tree.
