The anchorage outside Landing Cove: 50 feet of depth with a lot of surge. At the cliff depth is about 35 feet. If there is any weather at all it is not a safe anchorage.

The buildings in the foreground (the only ones on the Island -- include the Ranger's house on the right, the maintenance building/ visitor center, and in the back the water tower -- now covered by a building to disuade people from shooting at it from passing boats.
