suspension harness for 5 gallon bucket. I made a monkeys fist on the end of the rope to keep it from getting away from me.

May I ask how this held up over time? The single piece of rope, even snugged up tight and riding in grooves, seems like it might have been unstable? I love the idea. and would like to replicate it. Any improvements you'd make now, or would you leave it as is?
