P1000487 The turnbuckle is only hand tight and it holds the bow down tight. The lock nut on the turnbuckle wonders down and it will not let the turnbuckle loosen up. The aluminum angle underneath that the ubolt is bolted thru is below the top flange of the frame rail. Hopefully preventing a close relationship between boat and truck and it's occupants should the unthinkable occur. Looks and works better than a stinking strap

Trailer mod looks really good and much safer. I've had a boat come off the roller in an accident. Now what's that silver thing on the white part of your hull?
