Wagmore, formerly Roustabout, was in excellent shape when purchased in 2014. At the time of purchase, a trailer was acquired and Wagmore has enjoyed a cozy home out of the weather, inside her pole barn when not in use ever since.

A finer example of a Nordic 26 would be hard to find. The last three years have seen extensive upgrades, bringing this classic vessel into the modern world. An extensive interior upgrade has been completed, few expenses spared, complementing and enhancing the original teak and bronze that gives her a timeless warmth and beauty. Extensive exterior upgrades, as well as modernization of mechanical systems have been undertaken as well. Lastly, a state of the art Simrad electronics system completes this offering. Wagmore is ready to cruise anywhere with confidence and in style.

75 gallon aluminum tank, drained and cleaned in 2018. Complete retrofit and update of filtration, fuel lines and fittings in 2018. System consists of a new SBMAR Double Double Fleetguard filtration system w/pressure gauges and purge bulb, new and larger 3/8" fuel lines and fittings throughout.

The original Wagner helm pump is in excellent shape, no leaks and operates smoothly. Original Wagner rudder actuator was replaced with a top of the line, Seafirst HC 125 bronze/stainless actuator in 2018 as part of a complete hydraulic system replacement and upgrade. With the addition of a new Simrad RPU80 hydraulic autopilot pump, all original ¼” plastic lines w/compression fittings were removed and replaced with custom Seastar 5/16" hydraulic lines and Seastar fittings.

Hull and Hardware Updates

Prior to purchase, the marine survey indicated slightly elevated moisture was present in two places; along the salon roof and pilothouse joint, and around the fuel filler in the cockpit. Both locations were drilled for core inspection, and neither showed any signs of damage. The salon and pilothouse joint was cleaned of old sealant, glassed and filled to create a permanent, solid and maintenance-free junction. The fuel filler flange sealant had failed in the other location, but the core beneath was solid and intact upon removal. Proper backcutting of the core was performed and epoxy filled, redrilled and fuel filler flange reinstalled using marine butyl tape.

Faux stack has been removed to allow space for dinghy storage on salon roof. Stack is included with sale.

All original teak handrails have been removed from foredeck, pilothouse and salon roofs and replaced with oversized, 1-¼” Anchor Hatches stainless grab rails.

New bronze midship cleats from Port Townsend Foundry added, proper G2 backing plates installed under hull rail.

New bronze wheel vent from Port Townsend Foundry added over cooktop.

A complete interior retrofit was undertaken in 2018 and 2019.

Narrow strip Amtico flooring professionally installed, including new teak steps and trim where necessary. Engine hatches replaced and leveled with new flooring.

Cloth headliner replaced in pilothouse and salon with sheet formica. Stunning, clean look with easy wipe-down maintenance and no mold/mildew. Original overhead lights replaced with new LED marine fixtures, including switched red/white in the pilothouse.

V-berth headliner replaced with smooth, foam-backed vinyl headliner.

All new foam cushions, including memory foam in the v-berth for an amazingly comfortable sleeping experience. New Stamskin One synthetic leather upholstery throughout, comfortable and extremely durable.

New custom teak overhead cabinet in pilothouse, slim design so as not to block view through forward windows. Houses electronics above the helm, handy map shelf on the port side.

New teak platform at helm to support large MFD and associated marine networking cables underneath.

New channels cut into teak walls to allow easy routing of modern electronic cabling between overhead cabinet, helm platform and below decks. New custom teak trim to cover.

Both teak sliding pilothouse doors have been rebuilt and refinished. Upper and lower weathered ply panels replaced with safety glass, providing excellent visibility while underway and docking.
